The Southport Fire Department receives no monetary support from any municipality and thrives solely on the generosity of those whom we serve. As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization donations are tax deductible to the full extent provided by law.

Property, Goods, and Services
The Southport Fire Department accepts donations of all kinds. From donations of old vehicles used during car fire and extrication drills to kitchen appliances and furniture, we can find a use for almost anything. We also accept donations of professional services be it accounting, architecture, or general contracting.

Monetary Contributions
Only through monetary donations can the the Southport Fire Department continue to operate. Our entire operating budget is funded by donations from the residents of Southport and Fairfield, philanthropic foundations and corporations.
